Getting the 30,000-Foot View

Jo Ilfeld |Executive Leadership Coach |Getting the 30,000-Foot View

How do you get that 30 000 foot view of the lay of the land, that big picture?

In today’s world, we seem to be pulled in so many different directions that it can be almost impossible to see the wider view of what’s going on in our work. We find ourselves putting out fires and solving problems one by one when, in fact, if we were able to step back a little further, we could come up with a more comprehensive answer that will actually answer not just the question at hand but maybe the next five that will arise next. This would save us lots of time and we would have a much more unified strategy.

How do you do strategic stepbacks? Watch the video to find out more and learn what I do to get the bigger picture.
