ONE Thing You Should Know When Making a Choice
In a recent conversation with fellow executive coaches and consultants about decision-making criteria, someone shared a gem that I had to share.
They said: “The experience of moving forward matters more than the choice.”
This wise statement made me stop and say, “OMG, I HAVE to write that down!”
For those caught in decision-making loops, endlessly seeking the optimal choice, and drowning in data, this perspective is a game-changer.
The learning and growth derived from making a decision and moving forward hold more significance than the decision itself. Whether it’s choosing a hotel for vacation or determining key performance indicators for a department, the experience gained from the process is invaluable.
So I’m just going to challenge you today, make a choice, and then live into the experience of moving forward.
