Jo Ilfeld | Learn from the Past|Executive Leadership Coach| How to Learn from the past to be Preventative

This week’s learning snack is inspired by my daughter’s unfortunate mishap. After she suffered a really nasty sunburn the other week, I took good care of her burn but at the same time I talked to her about how this painful incident will change how she thinks about sunscreen in the future. That instead of being a pain in the butt, it’s something that will prevent her from experiencing that level of pain again.

It made me think about a lot of my clients and the leaders I work with. Do you really set up feedback listening systems where you get feedback and you immediately put it into action to make things better? Watch this video to learn a great tip you can start using in your meetings or workplace to get feedback easily and immediately.
