Happy Thanksgiving!

happy thanksgiving

It’s November and it’s dark so early. I find myself fighting against natural rhythms to hibernate during the winter (eat more/sleep more/ etc). I’m also beginning to feel pulled into the holiday to-dos (and in our family, birthday festivities) that seem to dominate from Thanksgiving through New Year’s.

Each year I try to brainstorm, how can I simplify this holiday season? How can I spend more time singing and less time scrambling? If you have any tips or must-trys that have worked for you – please comment below now and share them. I’m eager for new ideas and inspiration. . .

At the beginning of this month I was thrilled to participate in the inaugural amazing Connect*Work*Thrive Conference in Silicon Valley. The caliber of the speakers and attendees was inspiring. I learned so much from eavesdropping on my fellow presenters during the day and I learned just as much from talking with the men and women who came, asked great questions, and challenged me to reflect more deeply on how I can meet the needs of working professionals who are balancing many different roles at once.

In honor of them, and you – I’m challenging you to go beyond what you may think is possible for you.

And if I don’t talk to you before then – have a happy and gratitude-filled Thanksgiving!
