Happy Halloween!

As a kid Halloween is fun. You can dress up for one night and be anyone. My daughter is going to be a pink power ranger. My son last year was some grizzly zombie who had a chainsaw through him. Halloween gives you a chance to experiment and try on another identity.

The truth is that we don’t need Halloween to experiment. Although it’s easier when everyone around you is doing it. Every single day offers us the opportunity to try on a different way of being.

Recently I decided to take on the Matt Cutts Ted Talk Challenge – to do something new for 30 days – and turn my computer off by 10pm EVERY NIGHT. I felt like it would get me away from the vortex of email and I’d have more time to read each night. Double bonus! So far I’m 25 days in and I can report that I love the new rhythm of my evenings.

Perhaps you feel stressed out and are always rushing from place to place? You could try on a slower, ‘less is more’ approach this fall. Just as the leaves are changing color all around us, we are not static – we have the ability to try a different way of living and operating in the world. What would your first step be?

If you can spare 60 seconds, comment below right now and let me know what you would like to experiment with this fall!
