Anke Thiele has been a leadership consultant and coach for over 15 years and she focuses on areas such as emotional-social intelligence, communications, and leadership presence.
Anke brings her academic background in organizational psychology and business management/strategy consulting as well as her own leadership experience in her coaching work. She works with executives to facilitate improved personal effectiveness and business results and has coached hundreds of high-performing leaders in organizations across a wider range of industries.
Her consulting experience covers performance management, organization structure design, process redesign, change management, and all facets of talent management.
Experience
Anke has held senior management positions at Bertelsmann AG, Europe’s biggest media company, and at Towers Perrin, where she consulted in the areas of organizational effectiveness and change management with Fortune 500 companies across industries.
She serves as part of the extended faculty at UC Berkeley’s Center for Executive Education and currently works as an external executive coach for Google, ClifBar, UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, and other Silicon Valley companies.
She was recently trained and certified as a mindfulness meditation teacher through UC Berkeley’s Greater Goods Science Center, Jack Kornfield, and Tara Brach.
